A young boy was assaulted at a Cornwall holiday park, and police are seeking information from anyone who might have been there at the time.
Cornwall: Police are looking into a serious incident from over eight years ago. A young boy, just nine at the time, was assaulted in a play area near Bude.
This happened on August 13, 2016, at Sandymouth Holiday Park. The boy was playing on a pirate ship-shaped piece of equipment when the assault occurred.
The suspect was likely between 16 and 20 years old back then. Authorities want to hear from anyone who was at the park that day.
Detective Constable Clare Keenan mentioned that other kids were around. They might have talked to the victim and could have helpful information.
She urged anyone who stayed at the park or has photos from that time to reach out. Every little bit of info could help identify the suspect.
