Coventry: A wild story just came out about a guy named Darrell Duddin. He stole his boss’s Ford Ranger while they were on a work trip. Can you believe that?

So, this happened on October 22, 2024. Duddin was staying with his coworkers in Reading. He snatched the keys and climbed out of a window. Then, he took off on the A46.

When the police tried to pull him over, he just sped away. They chased him into Leicestershire, where he hit 115mph. That’s super fast!

He didn’t stop for red lights and even drove onto the M1. The police tried to box him in, but he swerved all over the place. At one point, he rammed into a police car.

The chase continued, and the police used a stinger to pop one of his tires. But Duddin kept going, leaving sparks and metal behind. Eventually, they surrounded him in Lincolnshire.

He tried to run but got caught. Turns out, he had a knife on him too. Duddin was charged with several offenses, including dangerous driving.

He pleaded guilty and got 18 months in jail. The police were relieved no one got hurt. Inspector Jason Baxter said it was a dangerous situation, but they managed to stop him. What a crazy ride!
