A shed fire in Carnon Downs, Truro, spread to a garage, destroying a widow’s late husband’s belongings. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene.
Jonny Blenkin lives across from the house. His son told him about the fire during a Zoom call, and Jonny had to stop his life-coaching session. “It was quite something,” he stated. They saw the fire spread along power cables and immediately called emergency services.
The fire engines arrived very fast. The fire occurred at 7 PM on January 28th. Firefighters came from Truro and Falmouth. All neighbors and pets were safe afterward.
Jonny spoke to the homeowner, who was crying badly. He learned about the fire destroying her late husband’s things. Jonny heard some loud bangs earlier that evening and thought they might have been fireworks.
