Filming for a popular BBC drama brings armed police actors to Coventry streets this week
Coventry: This week, Coventry is buzzing with excitement. BBC crews are in town filming new episodes of a popular drama. Locals got a letter about the filming schedule.
They’ll be shooting in the Tile Hill area on Friday. The letter mentioned actors dressed as armed police with fake weapons. It’s all part of the show, so no need to worry!
Filming will happen both inside and outside a property. The local police are aware since some scenes involve marked police cars. They’ll also have signs saying “filming in progress” around the area.
Crews will be back on Monday and Tuesday for more filming. But that’s not all! On February 3, they’ll film at another location in Tile Hill.
The letter warned again about scenes with fake armed police entering a house. They’ll also shoot near a bus stop and shop, with actors in police uniforms. It sounds like quite the production!
