Truro City FC is set to enhance its stadium with over 500 new seats, aiming for a Football League spot while improving fan facilities.
The new plans include a family seating area and more space for disabled fans. They’re even doubling the size of the North Stand. Plus, the terraces will be moved and covered, so fans can stay dry during games.
The club is using a Premier League fund to cover the costs, which are around £180,000. This fund helps clubs at the National League South level improve their grounds every five years.
CAD Architects helped with the planning, and now the club will look at schedules to set a timeline for the work. John Fabby, the stadium lead, mentioned they’ve listened to fans’ needs. The new seating will make the experience even better.
Eric Perez, the executive chairman, is thrilled about these improvements. He believes it’s a big step toward making the stadium more spectator-friendly. Fans can look forward to a great match day experience!
