Newcastle: The Strictly Come Dancing tour is facing challenges. Vito Coppola, a pro dancer, has announced he’s stepping back from the tour. He reached the final with Sarah Hadland but had to withdraw due to a back injury.
After a brief return for a show in Newcastle, Vito confirmed he can’t continue. He shared a message with Sarah, saying their last dance was beautiful and memorable.
Vito praised their teamwork and promised to support her. He also mentioned he needs to take better care of himself. He encouraged Sarah to stay her enthusiastic self.
He wished good luck to his fellow dancers and thanked fans for their support. Nikita Kuzmin will now partner with Sarah for the rest of the tour.
On This Morning, Vito explained his injury. He said he can walk but full-on dancing is tough right now. He hopes to return for the Sheffield shows.
Wynne Evans also stepped down from the tour. He announced he’s taking time off to focus on his wellbeing and apologized for any pain caused by his actions.
