Coventry: Searches are happening for a man who disappeared almost two years ago. Police are in the city this weekend looking for Stefan Watkins, who went missing in 2023.

Stefan, also known as Lee, was reported missing on May 23, 2023. He was last seen on May 6, the day of King Charles’ Coronation.

Detectives think he might have been spotted the next day, May 7, in Coventry. There was a sighting around 1:30 AM at the junction of Vauxhall Street and Berry Street in Hillfields.

Police were seen searching Hillfields recently. Stefan is about 6 feet tall, has blue eyes, and short hair.

Detective Inspector Gareth Unett said they are still investigating and believe Stefan may have come to harm. They will keep searching over the weekend.

Mr. Unett mentioned they are open to any information that could help find Stefan and support his family and friends.
