They started fixing up an old school in Coventry. It should open in 2026. The school used to be Woodlands Academy. Now, Woodfield School will move there. It’s currently in Lower Eastern Green.

Clegg Construction will make the new school. They will add special spaces for students. Coventry City Council said the project costs £23 million. They will build playgrounds and a forest.

Seven old buildings will get fixed up inside. A new parking lot is also planned. Right now, the school has two locations. They will combine into one school.

Councillor Dr. Kindy Sandhu spoke about the project. She wants every child to get the best learning. She thinks the new school will help them. Clegg Construction is excited to start building soon. They will start the site construction work.

Michael Sim also made a statement. His company has lots of experience with schools. They will rebuild and change the old buildings. He looks forward to working with their partners.
