Hayle: A man named Nelson Crocker is facing serious charges. He’s accused of sexually assaulting children. But he says it’s all lies. He claims his accusers are just trying to ruin his life.

Crocker is on trial for 29 different allegations. These include sexual assault and attempted rape against kids aged 5 to 14. Some charges even involve inciting minors to engage in sexual activity.

The 26-year-old lives in Penmare Terrace, Hayle. He allegedly took advantage of seven victims over the last 20 years. He firmly denies all the charges.

During the trial, the court learned that Crocker was between 10 and 22 when these alleged acts occurred. The first complaints came during the Covid lockdown.

On the seventh day of the trial, police interviews were read to the jury. In these interviews, Crocker maintained his innocence. He said, “They’re making things up to mess me up.”

He also denied ever contacting his alleged victims or threatening them. In one interview, he stated, “I have no sexual interest in males or children.”

The trial is now in its second week and should wrap up soon. The courtroom drama continues as everyone waits for the final verdict.
