A polar vortex split is expected to hit the UK, bringing up to 11 inches of snow. Cold air will cause wintry conditions across various regions.

WXCharts also predict snow as a front moves from the continent on February 13. Scotland could see 27cm of snow, while northern England might get around 10cm. However, Coventry and Warwickshire may avoid the worst of it.
The local Met Office forecast indicates colder weather ahead. The week will start mild but will gradually cool down as we approach the weekend.
Today, expect a murky morning with low cloud and fog. Brighter skies will develop in northern areas, bringing some hazy afternoon sunshine. The maximum temperature will be around 9C.
