Hey, I need to tell you something about Truro. They might put parking fees at Boscawen Park soon. The council wants feedback on this idea. It’s a popular spot for commuters.

The council wants your opinion on parking. They’re looking at Boscawen Park, Hendra Park, Victoria Gardens, and the future sports hub. Feedback is needed for managing these areas.

They want to know what people think. The main focus is adding fees at Boscawen Park. You would get four hours of free parking there. After that, prices would go up to £10.50.

The new sports hub would let you park free. You get 24 hours with no returning quickly. Campers could park overnight from 9 pm to 8 am.

Victoria Gardens is free from dawn until dusk. Campers are allowed there too. Hendra and the Library lots need permits.

Want to talk about it in person? You can speak with council staff on February 10. They will be at Boscawen Park’s café on February 18. The annual town meeting is March 12. It’s at the Truro Library at 7 pm.

You must send your thoughts in writing. Send emails to info@truro.gov.uk. Mail them to the Town Clerk’s Department. The address is Boscawen Street, Truro, TR1 2NE.
