Coventry and Warwickshire brace for wintry showers this weekend, with easterly winds bringing rapidly dropping temperatures from Friday.
Remember the “Beast from the East”? Similar easterly winds are coming soon. The cold air arrives this Friday, the Met Office says. Temperatures will drop pretty fast. This cold weather will last for days.

Some freezing fog might form. The low temperature touches -2C. Thursday starts cold and frosty. Freezing fog will lift during the morning. The rest of the day is dry and sunny. Expect light winds and a high of 7C.
Friday will start chilly with sunny weather. Saturday and Sunday turn cloudier and colder. Wintry showers are likely. It’ll also feel breezy and wind chill will be a factor.
