Coventry: Shoppers were in for a surprise. Minions on tractors showed up at the Tesco Extra car park. It was quite the sight last night.

Four giant tractors rolled in, one even had a crane. Three big yellow Minions were riding along. People quickly grabbed their phones to snap pictures.

Some locals recognized the tractors. They’re part of a charity Christmas event that visits Coventry and Nuneaton. But this time, it was serious.

Banners on the tractors read, “No farmers, no food.” This was a peaceful protest by local farmers. They wanted to raise awareness about food security.

The protest was part of a national movement. Farmers are concerned about government changes to inheritance tax. These changes could really hurt them.

Some farmers even drove their tractors to London to protest outside Parliament. It’s a big deal for the farming community.
