Coventry: The Met Office has issued a warning for gales. They say strong winds will hit Coventry and Warwickshire soon. By Friday, we could see gusts up to 46mph.

Earlier, BBC Weather mentioned a stormy spell coming our way. The Met Office meteorologists think this could be the strongest winds we’ve had this winter.

The windy weather is expected to kick off on Thursday. But Friday will be the peak day for those strong gusts. It might also bring some milder temperatures.

Right now, we’re starting the week with chilly weather. Expect frosty mornings for the next couple of days.

Today, we might see some early brightness, but it won’t last. A cloudy day is on the way, with scattered showers possible in the afternoon. It’s going to feel pretty cold, with a high of just 5C.

Tonight should be mostly dry, with a few clear spells. But watch out for mist and fog patches by dawn. Temperatures could drop to around 1C, so a touch of frost is likely.

Tomorrow morning, any mist should lift, but it’ll still be cloudy. There’s a chance for some sunny spells as temperatures rise a bit, reaching a maximum of 6C.

Looking ahead to Wednesday through Friday, it’ll be cloudy with light rain possible on Wednesday. We might see frost and fog overnight if the skies clear. But from Thursday, things will get unsettled with gales and heavy rain expected by Friday.
