McDonalds Plan Scrapped in South London Nando’s to Open Instead

Nando’s wants to open at 62 Westow Street. Poundland currently uses that space in Crystal Palace. This spot sits in the Triangle area. McDonald’s once planned a restaurant there as well.

Locals and stores were not happy with McDonald’s. That plan came out last January. People worried about the area’s vibe. It happened three years after a prior rejection. The old plan troubled people.

Nando’s application seems like a good alternative. That’s according to Claire Bonham. She serves as a councillor for Crystal Palace and Upper Norwood. Bonham wants to hear from the locals about Nando’s plan.
