Brian Bennett, a devoted Arsenal supporter, is remembered after his passing, leaving behind family and friends who cherished him.
Redruth: Brian Bennett, a lifelong Arsenal fan, passed away recently. He fell in love with Cornwall during his honeymoon and moved there in 1961. Brian was a solicitor and a beloved member of his community.
He is survived by his first and second wives, children, stepson, and grandchildren. Brian was known for his kindness and humor. He enjoyed gardening and walking along the coast with his second wife, Shirley.
Brian was born in September 1933 in Hendon, North London. He excelled in school and later studied law at the London School of Economics. He married Margaret Giffard in 1958, and they honeymooned in Cornwall, where they decided to settle.
After moving to Cornwall, Brian worked for a local law firm and became an active community member. He later started his own legal practice in Truro. Brian passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2024, at the age of 91.
