Illogan: So, there’s been a sad situation in Illogan, Cornwall. Inquests have kicked off for a man and a woman who were found dead recently. The woman, Maleta Rosevear, known as Milly, was discovered at her home on January 10.

Not long after, police were called to a spot on the A30 near Redruth. They were worried about a man’s welfare. Sadly, he fell from a bridge and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This man was later identified as Adrian Lawrence, 59. His wife confirmed his identity. The coroner’s court heard that he suffered multiple injuries from the fall. The pathologist said the injuries were severe, consistent with a fall from a height of about 25 to 30 meters.

As for Milly, her cause of death was noted as a blunt force head injury. They identified her using dental records. The coroner, Andrew Cox, has put both inquests on hold for more police investigations.

Police mentioned that Milly and Adrian knew each other. Detective Inspector Rob Smith said they’re looking into the events leading to Milly’s death, which is being treated as suspicious. He reassured that they’re not looking for anyone else in connection with it. Their thoughts are with the families during this tough time.
