Doncaster: Families have a short time to claim supermarket vouchers and cash. The Household Support Fund, extended by the Labour Party, ends soon.
Some councils are closing applications early. In North Yorkshire, residents must apply for £150 vouchers by February 13.
Doncaster Council is offering payments to Housing Benefit recipients and others. Eligible households can get £75 for childless families, £150 for one or two kids, and £225 for three or more.
Pensioners can receive £50 if they get pension credit or £150 if they don’t. Applications close on February 28 at 5 PM.
Doncaster Council says many eligible households were automatically paid before. If you received a payment last time, you might not need to apply again.
