Cornwall Council is inviting entrepreneurs to propose new pop-up businesses across 12 sites in the region, including popular beach areas.
Newlyn: Cornwall is looking for fresh ideas for pop-up businesses. The council has 12 spots up for grabs, including some near beaches and car parks.
They started this initiative back in 2016. Most pop-ups have been food trucks or horseboxes, but they want to see new concepts too.
People can submit their proposals for these sites. The only rule is that they need to be cleared out overnight. It’s a great chance for anyone with a cool idea.
Here are the available spots: Commercial Road in Hayle, Fairground in Helston, Grogley Halt in Bodmin, and more. There’s a mix of locations to choose from.
Councillor Carol Mould mentioned that some pop-ups have done really well. She encourages anyone interested to explore this opportunity.
Don’t forget, the deadline for applications is January 22. For more details, check out the council’s website.
