Truro: A fun-filled ‘glow in the dark’ cricket night is coming to Cornwall next month. This is the second LGBTQ+ cricket event organized by the Cornwall Cricket Board. They promise an exciting twist to the game.

Players will use fluorescent bats and balls under UV lights. It’s all about mixing cricket with the vibrant energy of neon. Sounds like a blast, right?

Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, this event celebrates inclusivity and diversity. It’s open to everyone, no matter your skill level.

The Cornwall Cricket Board aims to create a welcoming space for all. Kellie Williams, their community engagement lead, is excited to see people from all backgrounds join in.

Joe Skinner, the managing director, emphasizes that cricket is for everyone. He encourages folks to come out, have fun, and wear their brightest neon outfits.

The event is for ages 15 and up, happening at Cornwall Cricket Centre on February 7 at 7 PM. Best part? Admission is free!

For more details or to sign up, reach out to Kellie at her email. It’s going to be a night to remember, so don’t miss out!
