Truro: Police are looking into an incident where a disabled woman was assaulted outside a pub. This happened at Try Dowr on Lemon Quay.
The attack took place on Sunday afternoon, January 19. Reports say another woman assaulted her.
Interestingly, this incident followed claims of a kidnap attempt at the same pub. However, police found no evidence of that and are not investigating it.
A police spokesperson confirmed they are still gathering information about the assault. They said, “Enquiries are ongoing.”
The victim is recovering from a stroke, which adds to the seriousness of the situation.
Earlier, police responded to a suspicious incident involving a woman and a child at the pub. They found no wrongdoing related to that case.
