A cyclist was seriously injured in a crash on the A38 today, prompting road closures and delays for drivers in the area
The cyclist suffered some serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. It sounds pretty bad, and police are looking into it.
To manage the situation, National Highways closed part of the A38. They set up local diversions, so drivers faced delays.
Earlier, they announced the eastbound A38 was closed between Liskeard and Trerulefoot due to the crash. Thankfully, the road has reopened now, and traffic is getting back to normal.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed they were called around noon. They reported the collision and sent emergency services right away.
The cyclist’s injuries are serious and could change his life. Let’s hope he recovers quickly. Local road closures were in place, but everything was cleared by around 2:30 PM.
