Coventry: A teenager and a young man are in serious trouble. They’ve been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing incident. This happened on Stoney Stanton Road earlier this month.

On January 5, a man was found badly hurt. Thankfully, his injuries weren’t life-threatening, but he was quickly taken to the hospital.

The police have been working hard on this case. Just recently, they arrested and charged two men. Horeb Mayukua, 21, and Leonard Hunte, 18, both from Coventry, are facing serious charges.

They appeared in court on January 18 and are now in custody. Their next court date is set for February 14 at Warwick Crown Court.

Detective Inspector Sherrie Kimberley thanked the community for their help. She appreciated everyone who came forward with information. It’s great to see people looking out for each other.
