Coventry: A Coventry firm is on the rise! Corona Energy is expanding and creating 150 new jobs. They’ve taken over more space in the Bourn Building, which used to be Sherbourne House.

They’ve added 15,021 square feet, including parts of the third and fifth floors. This expansion is part of a 10-year lease. Neil Mitchell, the CEO, shared why they chose Coventry.

He mentioned that the city is a growing utility hub. It has the skilled workforce they need, thanks to companies like Eon and Severn Trent. Plus, they can offer great working hours, which makes them appealing to job seekers.

The building itself has undergone a £9 million makeover. Now, it’s a smart-enabled office that runs on renewable energy. Rob Hemus from IM Properties said they’re focused on creating growth opportunities for businesses and communities.

He also highlighted the importance of connecting people and building a community at Bourn. They offer wellness classes and seasonal events to attract talent. Feedback from employees has been fantastic, and things are looking up!
