St Columb Major: Another burglary hit Cornwall today. A Co-op was broken into early this morning. Police say it happened around 1:35 AM.

Two people forced their way inside the store on Fore Street. They took some items and then ran off. The store is closed today due to the break-in.

A local mentioned that the Co-op is shut because of last night’s incident. Police were called right after the break-in was reported.

They confirmed that entry was forced and property was stolen. Investigations are still ongoing. If anyone has information or CCTV footage, they should reach out to the police.

This break-in adds to a string of similar incidents in the area. Just last week, two people broke into a filling station nearby. They took cigarettes and alcohol.

There were also attempted break-ins at other stores in Newquay. It’s unclear if these incidents are connected.
