Cornwall: A serious crash happened on the A30 this afternoon. Two vehicles, including a bus, were involved. The collision occurred between the A395 Kennards House and the A389 Bodmin. Emergency services are currently on the scene, and the A30 is closed westbound.
This incident was first reported around 4:30 PM today. As rush hour traffic picks up, delays are building in the area. National Highways has labeled the crash as serious.
Motorists should expect significant delays. National Highways is directing drivers around the closure using the A395 and A388. Here’s the diversion route:
Drivers should exit the A30 at the A395 junction (Kennard’s House). Then, return on the A30 eastbound towards Launceston. Next, exit at the A388 junction and take the A388 southbound towards Saltash. At the Carkeel Roundabout, turn right to join the A38 westbound. Continue past Liskeard towards Bodmin and rejoin the A30 westbound at Bodmin just after Turfdown Roundabout.
